Tubbs Journey 36 snowshoes are ideal for long winter hikes. They are lightweight and have excellent grip on the snow thanks to their durable boots. Journey snowshoes feature a Cobra™ boot in the front and a Tubbs Heel boot in the back. These boots provide optimal grip even on steep and uneven terrain. Journey 36 bindings also feature a folded heel. This prevents the snowshoes from folding completely, which reduces pressure on the feet and improves stability and control on steep slopes. The 180™ EZ bindings have a simple and intuitive adjustment and release mechanism. This makes it easy to put the snowshoes on and off, even with frozen toes.
Tubbs' history began in 1906 in Norway, USA, where Walter F. Tubbs began manufacturing snowshoes. Originally made of white ash, the boots are now available in aluminum and durable composite materials. Snowshoes have evolved and continue to evolve. Tabs pioneered the American snowshoe industry and remains the market leader.
